My awesome next door neighbors who might just be the most laid back people I have ever met, organized a paint and pizza party to let the KIDS paint their new playroom in preparation for bringing little Jack home. For those of you who don't know the LT crowd, three out of four families (including us) have adopted or are in the process of adopting orphans. Amazing. Little Jack is 1 1/2 years old and lives in China. He has a cleft lip and palate and is about to meet a wonderful set of parents and two brothers who will be waiting for him back home. He will live a stones throw away from one of the top Children's Hospitals where he will have surgery for his cleft and some of the best medical care possible.
So, back to the paint. Did I mention that my neighbors are laid back? Good thing, too.
