Have you visited the Paperback Swap website yet? I found it a while ago, and have used it ever since.
The basic idea is that you post books that you have read and are willing to swap and then other members request your books, earning you credit for each book that you mail. Once you earn credits, you can then request books from other members. It is all free, for the price of shipping!
I have gotten new cookbooks this way when we were cooking gluten free as well as books that have been recommended in church that I'd like to read. Much cheaper than buying the book and well...using the library since I can't ever seem to remember to return books on time! This was a great way for me to grab a few new books for vacation as well.
If you are interested in finding out more, click on the button on the right side of my blog and it will take you to the website. They also have a sister site called DVD Swap for all of you out there who would like to stop watching such classics as Fairytopia or the Princess Tales for the hundredth time in a row. We made a few of ours "disappear" this way! Works for me!

Hmmm..I've never been to the site but I have been to a store in my neighborhood that does the same sort of thing on-site.
:)
Thanks for sharing this. I just opened up the link. It looks like a neat way to share books.
My latest post: Deceived by Complacency
Thanks for sharing this idea. I've posted 10 books and have had 2requested. I subsequently requested Doman's "What to Do About Your Brain-Injured Child or Your Brain-Damaged, Mentally Retarded, Mentally Deficient, Rigid, Epileptic, Autistic, Athetoid, Hyperac: ... Epileptic, Autistic, Athetoid, Hyperactive..." Heavy reading, huh?!
